At Natural Dentistry of North Texas, we know that visiting a new dentist for the first time can be a little intimidating. But there is nothing we enjoy more than meeting new patients and welcoming them warmly to our extended family!

Our goal is to make your first experience with us so exceptional that you will know you have found your dental home for life!

If you’re ready to schedule your first visit with a Natural Dentist, please call us at (972) 681-5936 or send us an email using our online contact form.

Completing Your Paperwork

Before your first appointment, we need to gather some essential information about you that will help us understand what your oral health needs are at this moment. There are new patient forms we ask you to fill out including your medical history.

You can find everything you need here on our forms page. It’s best if you can download and complete them at your leisure. But if you can’t, don’t worry – just plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your appointment and complete them here in our comfortable dental office.

What You Need to Bring

Please bring a photo ID as well as any insurance cards or credit cards you plan to use.

Your First Appointment

When you arrive at our dental office, you can expect to be welcomed warmly by name. You will meet our well qualified front office professionals Brandi and Angela who will assist you with your check - in process and gather all the necessary information.

Cindy, our RDA ( Registered Dental Assistant)  will bring you back to your treatment room and get you settled comfortably with a neck pillow and blanket if you like. During your first visit, you will meet with Dr. Randhawa and our RDH ( Registered Dental Hygienists) Cindy or Teri.

Dr. Randhawa will first spend some time listening to your dental health concerns and learning about what your priorities are for a healthier smile. She’ll perform a comprehensive exam that includes evaluating outside and inside of mouth, Oral cancer and sleep apnea screening, TMJ assessment and note any areas of concern. Next, she will do objective assessment of your gum tissue health by measuring your gum pockets and chart it and also check each tooth in the mouth for cavities, cracks, fractures, wear facets and discolorations. If we do have time for your teeth cleaning on the same day, then you will see one of the hygienists.

Developing a Personalized Treatment Plan

Dr. Randhawa will discuss her findings with you, and if she finds that you need treatment, she will explain what the problem is and how addressing it early will benefit you. She takes the time to answer any of your questions regarding your health, how to treat the disease process and how to prevent that from happening again. To allow this detailed discussion, we allow 60 - 90 minutes for your first visit. We’ll personalize a treatment plan that takes all your unique needs into account and helps you achieve your oral health goals.

Before you leave, you’ll speak with our front desk manager Angela, who will review your insurance and financial needs and help you schedule future appointments as necessary.
